Eat Walk St Andrews

Walking tours are a fantastic way to get to know an unfamiliar place. You get the local knowledge of your tour guide. Walking through the streets allows you to get up close and personal with the sights of the town. Having been guided through the streets, you will feel much more confident getting around on your own afterwards.

Eat Walk St Andrews takes walking tours to the next step. Not only do you get a walking tour of the town, but you also get a tour of some of the best places to eat and drink at the same time.

The Tours

There are tours running every day of the week. There are tours that start at both 1 pm and 5 pm. If you need a tour at a different time, this can sometimes be arranged, just get in touch with the team with your requirements.

The tours last anywhere between three and three and a half hours. During this time you will visit five different venues. Each of the venues has food tasting, and three of them have drinks as well. At the end of your tour, you will receive vouchers for discounts at some of the places you have visited. You will also get a map to help you find your way back to your favourite venue.

Between each other venues, there is a 15 to 20-minute walk. The walk is mostly flat, so it is not too taxing. During your walking tour, you will learn all about the history and fascinating facts of the beautiful St Andrews.

You don't have to worry about staying close enough to your guide to hear every word they say. During the tour, you will be given a headset so that you can roam a little way or pause to take photos and all the time be able to hear your guide clearly.

Booking A Tour

You can book your tour online over the phone or via email. It is vital that you book; otherwise, the restaurants cannot prepare food. If you are vegetarian or vegan, you just need to indicate this in advance, and they will be happy to accommodate your dietary requirements. Children are also welcome on the tour, and they will be provided with soft drink options instead of alcohol.
